M Construction Services was founded by Mike Stannard and Ray Chapman 35 years ago under the name of Chapman and Stannaed. The business was then and still is now based around supplying steel framed buildings, grain handling equipment and slurry equipment to the agricultural industry.

In 2008 the business was sold to Andrew Buesnel with Mike being retained on a consultancy bases. The company remains based in Oakley near Diss with a loyal staff, who in some cases have been with us for over 30 tears.

Our principles have remained the same over the 35 years, from initial design to the finished project all worked is carried out by our own employed staff.

All buildings are fabricated in our own factory, to current BS Standards, and 2012 saw the completion of an extension to the factory with a purpose built building for painting the fabricated steel work.

We specialise not only in buildings, but grain handling and drying equipment, mill an mix equipment and slurry storage systems. We are main agents for Permastore slurry tanks covering  East Anglia and design and supply all ancillery pumping equipment.

Since 2008 we have also specialised in project design and management. We were appointed to design a 30000 tonne grain storage facility for Yargrain PLC at Cantley in Norfolk. Planning was obtained and the first expansion phase of 5000 tonne was completed in 2011 with the next phase planned to start in 2013.

In 2011 we were appointed to design a 25000 tonne store in Suffolk, which we hope to commence the building programme during 2013.

Not forgetting our roots a large proportion of our work still involves small repairs and maintenance to our customers who have supported us over the last 35 years.
